As part of a semester project this advent calendar has been developed. The illustrated “Wimmelbild” (picture of a busy scene) captures the chaos of the pre-Christmas period. Behind the doors are 24 picture surprises that complement the scene. Since this project is just a concept there is no actual calendar, and therefore no doors or numbers are visible in the illustrations. The artwork was created traditionally with a mix of gouache and coloured pencil in the format of 52 x 38 cm.
